Glen was a lovable lad, loved his family and was friendly with everyone who knew him.
He died in a tragic way on Rememberance day 2001, witnessed by many of his young friends.

He heard the call of distant drums
He had no fear that day
He joined the willing ranks of men
In defence of Tigers Bay
Young Glen was only sixteen years
And a man before his time
Yet he showed a lot more courage
Than some others in their prime
He bravely gave his life that day
His memory lingers on
It's not today, but every day
We realise he's gone
But his name's embedded in our hearts
So lovely and so fair
We call his name and look around
And Glen's no longer there
If there's any justice in this world
Then Glen is looking down
Upon his family and his friends
Scattered all around
He's up there just above the clouds
And in the hearts of men
We simply wont forget him
For there only is one Glen
